Name: Bounce BOUNCE HAS BEEN ADOPTED Bounce - is one year old male and is deaf as he was born with no ear drums. We think he might hear pitches as he has reacted to certain sounds. He was bought from his owner from a backyard breeder in Calgary and when she could not put the time into him he was traded for another dog with people she thought would treat him well and they did not. A neighbor took him from his home as he was tied up outside all his life and was very thin. He is currently in the Lloydminster SPCA where they are socializing him and trying to teach him with hand signals. He would need a home that has time to put training into him. He does learn very quick as he already sits with a hand signal. There are also many sites with great information on how to train a deaf dog and vibration collars are also a must to train with. He is fully house broke and crate trained as well. Bounce would be such a rewarding challenge. |
